Hey everybody. My name’s Clementine, and I wanted to share my quarantine story. So I’m 26 years old, and my boyfriend, Aaron, gained, like, so much muscle growth over the quarantine, you can barely recognize him. Let me show you a picture of before. He’s cute, but lanky right? Wait till you see a picture of him after his crazy fitness routine. But first–make sure to like and subscribe for more hidden wisdom stories. Don’t get me wrong, Aaron’s muscle growth was impressive, and he looked good. But he didn’t stop, he got obsessed, and his muscles grew to a ridiculous size. But by this point, Aaron wouldn’t listen to anybody. And all he wanted to do was pump iron and drink protein shakes. If I even mentioned chilling out on weight lifting, he’d freak on me, screaming about how he was in beast mode. When he started to get aggro about almost everything in his life, I knew something had to be done. But see, in a way, this is all my fault. Way back when Aaron was still a bean pole, I kinda humiliated him. But I didn’t mean to. I just happened to notice our neighbor, Blaze, who was totally ripped. He said he was really into fitness. And I sorta wished Aaron worked out a little more. So I kinda said something one night at dinner. He was microwaving noodles again. And I suggested that he eat something with more protein. Later, I asked if he ever thought about bulking up. I told him I thought he’d look hot with some guns to show off. Don’t get me wrong, Aaron was a great guy. He’s incredibly sweet. The kind of guy that gives others the sidewalk as he passes. I just thought maybe he’d incorporate some healthy exercise into his routine. I didn’t think that he would go ape over the idea. One morning, I saw him doing some push-ups. Then he started jogging. I figured things were off to a good start. But then he ordered some weights online, and he set up this whole gym in his office. Day after day, night after night he’d be in the gym, and I felt like he was a different person. I told him I was proud of him, but I was also thinking he might be overdoing it. I couldn’t say anything though because he had a tendency to be touchy these days. When the gyms opened back up, he started competing with some of the guys he met down at the muscle beaches. He even hired this fitness junkie to yell at him while he worked out. After only a few months, he had gained a crazy amount of weight. And he changed his name to A. Bomb and started referring to himself in the third person for some reason. If I called him Aaron, he’d get all irritated and insist on calling him A. Bomb. His whole attitude changed, and I had to admit, I didn’t really like it. The next time he saw Blaze, he challenged him to an arm wrestling contest. Blaze said it sounded like fun, but he was going to be cautious due to covid, and he didn’t want to touch hands. But Aaron called Blaze a chicken and started boasting about how he would destroy him. Then he started asking about how much he could curl and bench. And Blaze told him to stop trying to compete with him. Aaron said it wouldn’t be much of a competition, and then he went back inside and got a phone book. He tried to tear it in half like they do in the muscle men competitions. He was able to tear about half of it, but he almost fainted, trying to finish it off. Everybody was cool about it. But A. Bomb was so ticked off, he marched inside and slammed the door. I tried to talk to him, but he was really offended by anything and everything I had to say. I didn’t like A. Bomb. He was such a jerk. When we would go on hikes together, he would totally stare at these other girls. If I called him out, he’d just say that they were staring first, and I was just jealous…
